Château de l'Ille
Located on the site of an old Roman villa, Château de l’Ille extends over the foothills of Peyriac-de-Mer, a small fishing village in Languedoc-Roussillon, south of Narbonne.
On a wild and protected Mediterranean peninsula, combining scrubland, saltmarshes and vineyards, the land produces wines of great richness around a site unrivalled in the Corbières appellation.
Its exposure to the sea allows the vineyard to benefit from a microclimate favourable to the optimum ripening of the grapes which are picked for the most part by hand at the peak of maturity.
